The BC had yet to be invented! We used old navy surplus life jackets with oral inflators and Co2 cartridges (for emergencies).
Plus all the dive sites in southern Ontario...when I was first certified it was Tobermory or nothing! The sport had come a long way but the best part is having my sons as my buddies! Cheers! Bob
